HANNAH WIEDLE

Corps de Ballet

Hannah Wiedle began dancing in Orlando, Florida, when she was 4 years old. She started her classical ballet training under Irina Depler and Vadim Fedotov. To finish her pre-professional training, she joined the Ballet Conservatory at Skyra in 2017.

Hannah competed at Youth America Grand Prix, ADC|IBC, and Universal Ballet Competition while at the conservatory. She won many awards, including 1st place at YAGP and the 2019 "Aspire Award" at UBC. Hannah also was invited to and attended the finals of YAGP and ADC|IBC multiple times.

Upon graduating high school, she moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, to join Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet Aspirant Program. She performed in several ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Don Quixote.

Throughout her pre-professional career, Hannah attended many summer intensives on scholarship, including American Ballet Theatre, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, Orlando Ballet, and The Harid Conservatory.

Hannah is looking forward to her first season with Ballet Pensacola for the 2022-2023 season as a Corps de Ballet member.

“I love dance because it brings me so much happiness, joy, and fulfillment. Moving with the music while being able to express all my emotions with only my body is beyond compare. I love the adrenaline rush of performing for an audience, the lights, and the costumes. But I also love the daily work, going to the barre, taking ballet class each morning, something so familiar yet focusing on something new every day. Dancing makes me feel alive, and I am so grateful for it.”
