“Dancing is a very spiritual practice. I feel the most connected to myself and to those around me when I am performing. It is what I turn to express my greatest joys and greatest sorrows. It has taught me how to keep the larger picture in mind but also focus on details within it. It has shown me how much strength and perseverance I have within myself.”
