Ella Lynn

Pleasanton, California USA

Ella Lynn was born in Pleasanton, California, and began dancing at a young age with Valley Dance Theater and Contra Costa Ballet before moving to Diablo Ballet, under the direction of Lauren Jonas, where she trained for two years before being invited to be a trainee with the company for the ’21-22 and ’22-23 seasons.

While training with the Diablo Ballet School, Ella danced the 2nd Shade Variation in La Bayadère, Cupid Variation in Don Quixote, and Aurora Act 1 in Sleeping Beauty. She has also gotten the opportunity to perform with the main company during each program. Some of those programs include Four Little Swans in Swan Lake, Waltz of the Hours in Coppélia, Paquita Corps, and Fairies and Rustics in Midsummer Night's Dream.

Since becoming a trainee, Ella has had the opportunity to work with notable teachers such as Joanna Berman, Sean Kelly, Pierre Vilanoba, and Christopher Lam; as well as noted choreographers such as Julia Adam and Penny Saunders. Ella attended summer programs at Master Ballet Academy and Houston Ballet.

In addition to dancing, Ella has taught for the Diablo Ballet School's young children’s program and currently teaches at the Tutu School.

Ella is so excited to be joining Ballet Pensacola for her first season as a Corps de Ballet member!

"Dance allows me to be myself and express myself freely, and because there is something new to learn every day, it encourages me to try my best no matter what. I also love the sense of community and connection with others that dancing has given me, including meeting so many incredible people and life-long friends. One thing that truly makes dancing so special to me is the joy on others' faces while they are dancing or while watching others dance because it not only brings a smile to my face, but it reminds me of why I continue to pursue such an inspiring art form".
