
Nadia Sears is originally from upstate New York, Nadia began dancing at the age of 10. She danced with Decker School of Ballet, Rafael Grigorian Ballet, and Syracuse City Ballet, where she became a junior company member.
Upon Graduation, Nadia spent two years as a BFA dance major at Belhaven University, where she studied under Laura Morton and Ravenna Tucker. While there, she had the opportunity to debut Kevin Jenkins' original ballet, Legacy.
In 2022, Nadia accepted a trainee position at Ballet 5:8 in Chicago, where she performed original choreography by Julianna Rubio-Slager and Tobin James.
Nadia is excited to be joining Ballet Pensacola for the 23/24 season.
Since the day I began ballet, I discovered the channel through which I can fully express myself emotionally. The physicality and musicality of this beautiful art form brings me nothing but joy. Through it I feel a sense of purpose, a calling almost to reach others.

What Would You Like the Audience/Community to Gain from Your Performances: Transcendence. My wish is for the audience to experience the wonder and beauty of ballet that will transcend the present cares of life.
